New marble game created by the Ort "boys". Sort of marble baseball :) - the raised train track is home run??? They'll have to teach you!

The Durham boats that crossed the Delaware with George Washington. It took 11 hours to get all the soldiers across.


Reporting for duty, Captain!





We visited Washington's Crossing (where he crossed the Delaware River to win a major battle against the British). We met up with our long lost camp friend, Cheryl Stumpf, and had fun walking the premises on this cool, wet day. It didn't rain on us, though, so we were grateful! This bldg. was used as a hospital of sorts for the soldiers.

Here, Jeff, is giving a "lecture" on the finer points of this property. Necessity room, hmmm.


Kara loved the sheep roaming in the field and took a lovely picture of them :)!




This tower was built in the 1930s to commemorate the crossing. It overlooks many of the old buildings in this area.
