Weekend projects: wash Dad's car after his MANY miles to visit new campers & new weed block, edging, and wood chips for the flower beds... The tulips just finished with their beauty, but the peonies are going to burst forth any day! Everybody worked hard, and we had fun being a team. It's been lovely here the last week or so, and we are getting more and more excited for summer and camp - outdoors ALL the time :)!
My tough boys!
Jeff is coaching the boys' in outdoor soccer, now. It can still be a bit cold on Wednesday nights, but their having a blast. Keith's team is playing full pitch this year (just learned that word tonight :) - it means they use the full field). Jacob's been making lots of goals - he's so thrilled!

I remember playing "superheroes" with my little brother like this :)! The baby dolls were strewn all about the living room, and after much caring for them, their blankets transformed into superhero capes :)! Simon loved running down the hall with Kara and making the capes "fly" :)!

Jacob's birthday - Menu: pancakes & pumpkin pie - YUM! The candles lie (mom wasn't prepared) - he did turn 8, not 6 :)! Wow - can he be this big???
He spent his birthday money on an ipod which he's shared so nicely with his siblings ;)! They've all spent many moments snuggling close so they can each hear.

Simon is really loving following the "examples" of his older siblings. The other night Jeff and I were both occupied with getting the big kids ready for bed and cleaning the kitchen. When we got back to the living room, he had climbed in the big blue chair, plopped the computer on his lap, opened it, and begun "typing". I think we're raising lots of little techies :)! We did find the neatest little game he plays, now, which requires no mouse, just button pushing...It's on nickjr.com - he loves playing peekaboo and hide&seek.
