The Orts' white Christmas was full of lots of cozy fun!!! We enjoyed adding to our little traditions by riding around town in our pajamas to see pretty Christmas lights! We were really praying that the kids hearts would be full of gratitude for the things God had given them and especially for baby Jesus! As we opened gifts, Jacob looked like he was going to cry! He was so overcome by the gifts he was opening which he didn't even ask for but LOVED! What a blessing our kiddos are to us! Each year Jeff plans a scavenger hunt for one special present. This year it was an "I Spy" hunt which led the kids to find all type of baby items. The last clue was, "Look at the pile (of baby things) and tell me what I spy in Mommy's belly!" Here's the picture of the kids response when they figured out it was a new baby :)! Keith quickly said that he hoped it was another girl so that it would be tied! We are excited to welcome this new baby sometime around July 22nd. Kara is still figuring this whole thing out, and the other day told us that it was baby Jesus in Mommy's tummy! We're sure she'll make sense of it all in the coming months :)! We have already seen God's sovereignty at work in this new little one's life as we headed to the ER around New Year's for an ultrasound. Em just ended up having a stomach virus instead of contractions, but while there they were able to see that the baby has a "cystic hygroma" on its neck. This early knowledge will allow the doctors to monitor the pregnancy more closely. We return to see a specialist in Missoula on February 1st and should know more specifics of the progress of the cyst and of its cause at that point. Winter continues with below 0 degree temps today, so you probably wouldn't recognize us in any up to date pictures because we're too bundled up to tell who's who :)! More updates soon :)!
